Rachel Parrotta, DPT - Doctor of Physical Therapy (She/Her)

After a decade of practicing in New York City, Rachel has returned home to provide the highest quality of care to the people of Long Island. While practicing in New York City, Rachel worked with a wide array of clients, ranging from business executives and professional actors to young athletes and college students.

Rachel has focused a majority of her career on the specialty of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. She has over a decade of experience supporting men and women with a wide range of pelvic health conditions, as well as supporting people through all phases of conception, pregnancy, post-partum and menopause.

Rachel earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. Prior to attending graduate school, Rachel worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer with a men’s professional hockey team. Her background in athletics gives Rachel a unique perspective in helping clients return to the sports and activities that they love.

Philosophy

Rachel believes that the role of a Physical Therapist is to empower clients with the most effective tools and information in order to help clients reach their goals. She strongly believes that the power of healing lies in the hands of the client, with the Physical Therapist as the trusted guide.

Personal

Rachel lives on Long Island with her husband and two sons. She loves exploring the outdoors, with hiking and skiing as favorite past-times.
